MS: Busting the Myths

A watery, colourless, clear fluid that bathes and protects the brain and spinal cord. It can be sampled by a lumbar puncture (spinal tap). The composition of this fluid can be altered by a variety of diseases, including MS where there is characteristically an increase in proteins produced by immune cells (immunoglobulins).
