If you are a family carer, please join the Government at an upcoming meeting to discuss priorities for the new Strategy Action Plan 2019-2023. The draft Action Plan covers a wide range of areas including payment for family carers, flexible funding models, continence, young caring, and respite. Has the Government hit the mark with its draft priorities or are there gaps? The meetings are a key way to influence policy for carers, with issues such as payment on the table for the Carers’ Strategy for the first time ever.
